Man films two bear cubs playing fight in his backyard

For most people catching a deer or moose in their backyard is a rare wonder. Can you imagine finding a mama bear blissfully eating grass and her two cubs rolling around like a pair of toddlers? That's exactly what happened to Bub Christensen who posted his video of the morning games on his YouTube channel.
Bear cubs are playful by nature. In fact, The North American Bear Center, says that there are very few animals that play more than bear cubs. Scientists believe that play helps keep the bears healthy and stimulates brain activity. In addition, bears learn how to fight, hunt and differentiate friend from foe.

Researchers also suggest that bears do a lot less playing around 1 1/2 years old when they start to mature and begin to wander away from their mother.
So far the video has racked up more than 350,000 views. Commenters on the video ranged from enchanted to more than a little concerned that mama bear was a bit too close for comfort.
The North American Bear Center says that while bears can be dangerous, black bears are not likely to attack unless they feel threatened. "Most attacks by black bears are defensive reactions to a person who is very close, which is an easy situation to avoid."  The offensive attacks that do occur typically take place in more remote areas of the woods where bears have little contact with humans.
Mama bear in this video appears to be completely comfortable  as her cubs roam and romp in the open yard.
