Homeowner heard a 'crashing in the bush,' expecting a bear to be his only find

In this must-watch video, two adorable black bear cubs are filmed as they frolic and play in the backyard of this home located in Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. Pretty soon after we become acquainted with the cute-as-buttons cubs, we can see the protective mama bear coming into the picture, dutifully following the cubs along around the yard while they explore, taste the leaves and grass, sniff around and play.
According to the lucky homeowner who filmed this delightful encounter, this chance meeting of not only a mama bear but her two babies happened quickly and unexpectedly. “I heard crashing in the bush, rushed to get my camera, put on the telephoto lens and position myself on the deck at a point I thought I might catch the bear. Little did I know, it was a mother bear and two cubs,” YouTuber user flipper577 said of the encounter.

As mama bear continues to watch over her babies and forages, the two cubs start to jump delightfully in the air, stand up on two feet, check out the shed door and wrestle with one another.
Although black bears are the smallest of the three types of North American bears, according to Defenders, and they might look friendly, furry and cuddly, they can still be dangerous to humans and should only be watched from a distance and never approached. This is especially true when they are guarding their little ones.
