Jennifer Rose seems to be engaging in some seriously happy horse play. The YouTube user shows off some of her horse's tricks, such as lying down, but it's the grinning from her horse companions that will bring a smile to your own face instantly.
"Kenai, you want to smile for mama?" Rose says to a young horse. "Give me a smile." The horse then proudly raises his upper lip revealing a full toothy grin that might have anyone struggling not to join him. Kenai, a haflinger stud colt, will tackle the lying down skill next.

“Most people who have horses know they are expressive and use their ears a lot, but I’ve got to admit, I was really surprised by the extent to which they use their face,” Jennifer Wathan, a Ph.D. candidate in social cognition and communication in horses at the University of Sussex in the U.K. told Time Magazine. “They’ve got a huge facial repertoire.” Wathan pointed out such expressive behaviors show a natural link between humans and other species.
